Dirty varnish. Frame rubbing. Repaired small tear at the upper right center with 2 1/2 x 1 inch patch on the reverse and corresponding area of inpainting. Visible stretcher marks. Scattered craquelure in the whites, resulting in a couple of tiny specks of paint flakes. Three tiny spots of inpainting at far left center. Appears to be glazing in the sky - most likely a technique done by the artist. 2 inch surface scratch in upper right center of sky. No further apparent restoration.
