Frame rubbing with corresponding paint loss. Stretcher marks visible. Cracquelure throughout. Scattered tiny areas of paint loss throughout. Scattered inpaint throughout, most notably at the lower right and left corners, along the edges and in the man's chin. 4-inch surface scratch to the left of the man's cheek. Dulling varnish.
