Gold, Platinum and Diamond Mesh Necklace, Van Cleef & Arpels
18 kt., the woven mesh necklace fashioned of three diagonally ribbed strands spaced by slender horizontal bands, cinched in the center with a knot, the staggered mesh ribbons tipped by 8 platinum-set round diamonds approximately .80 ct., signed Van Cleef & Arpels, #65291, with maker's mark and French assay marks, circa 1950, extension added later, approximately 69 dwt. Length 15 inches.
