The following condition report was prepared by Alan Firkser, Paper Conservation Studio Inc.:
The work has had old reinforcements and repairs removed and replaced with tissue repairs adhered with wheat paste. Water droplet stains were reduced and small paper losses were filled. The pigment does show the effects of light exposure.
While the sheet is a bit fragile, it will live a long life if it is not handled unnecessarily. The piece has been hinged, with tissue hinges adhered with wheat paste, into a new acid free mat and fit into a new frame.
