There is a small nick the exterior side of the box, towards the front pointed area; there is a small area of possible enamel removed also on the front pointed area of the box, located near upper rim edge and evidence of possible minor grinding, possibly in the making; the lid also appears to be in good condition; enameled David Nancy and the Cross of Lorraine signature on the underside.
