Fascinating group of a few hundred items including Lincoln memorabilia with photos, carte visite, newspaper clippings, copy of Bernhardt Walls Lincoln's New Salem, Civil war documents, payroll charts, General Orders, Bills of Lading, Exposition tickets, Revenue stamped checks, modern pamphlets, advertising items, a few Fractional currency Wooden Nickel, a couple of Obsolete notes, even a nice 1863 mourning envelope in full NY Star in circle cancel. The lot covers items circa 1860 to as modern as 1950 with the vast majority being in the earlier period, with condition varying from Poor to Very Fine, a treasure trove worthy of exploration.
