. [East Hampton, New York: Guild Hall, 1981]. Original publisher's brown cloth portfolio containing ten silver gelatin prints by ten photographers, each signed and numbered from the edition of 50. Each image is matted and archivally tipped to the mount, and is signed and numbered on recto or verso. The text brochure is laid-in. The slipcase with some staining and discoloration, some of the mounts soiled or foxed, the photographs themselves fine.
The images include Willem de Kooning by Dan Budnik; William King by Elliott Erwitt; Norman Della Joio by Duane Michals; Jean Stafford by Jill Krementz; Arthur Miller by Horst; Lee Krasner by Ernst Haas; Edward Albee by Hans Namuth; Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon by Eva Rubinstein; Eli Wallach and Ann Jackson by Inge Morath; and The Wave by Andre Kertesz.
