. London: James R. Osgood, McIlvaine, [1891]. First trade edition. Original pictorial cloth decorated in gilt and red, green cloth spine, designed by Charles Ricketts and C.H. Shannon, pictorial endpapers. Housed in a later leather-backed slipcase and chemise. 8 1/4 x 6 5/8 inches (21 x 16.5 cm) 8 x 5 1/4 inches (19.5 x 13 cm); (x), frontispiece, 158, (2) pp., four plates (including the frontispiece), decorations after line drawings by Ricketts. Covers a little soiled, some foxing to rear board, overall a fresh copy.
