about 1910-15. Gelatin silver print (possibly toned), 9 3/8 x 7 5/8 (245 x 195 mm), signed by Steichen on buff card mount in yellow watercolor at l.l., affixed to a larger sheet.
A superb portrait of The Girl from the Sun, as Meyer was evocatively known (she worked for the New York newspaper of that name). She was a major patron of Stieglitz and Steichen, as well as a contributor to 291, both the magazine and the gallery, which she helped fund.
