Amsterdam: Adrianus Douci, 1736 & The Hague: Johanes de Cros, 1739. Three volumes. Finely bound in contemporary mottled calf, the covers with an armorial crest inlaid with red morocco and gilt rules, the spines with raised bands, elaborate tooling and red lettering labels, gilt. 12 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches (31.5 x 20 cm); Frontis, engraved dedication and numuerous plates (many double page or folding, some very large). Some light wear and small losses to bindings, booklabel, an attractive set.
