The ten parts (each covering one genus) bound into two volumes, original cloth, smooth black calf spines, later index laid into the first volume. 9 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (24 x 14.5 cm); with black and white plates (some with images on both sides) and 13 maps in color. Light wear, overall a fine copy.
This remains a classic work for orchid growers, and is scarce. Massachusetts Horticultural Library Catalogue 323. Burrage p. 90
