. Geneva: Pellet, 1780. Eleven volumes, including atlas (atlas titled: Atlas de toutes les parties connues du Globe Terrestre dresse pour l'Histoire Philosophique). Contemporary calf, the spines elaborately tooled and gilt with red and black lettering labels, marbled endpapers. Text volumes: 8 x 5 inches (21 x 12 cm); Atlas 10 1/2 x 8 inches (27 x 21 cm). Text volumes with half-titles, portrait in volume I and frontispieces to other volumes; the atlas with 50 double-page maps and 23 tables (many folding). Booklabel, and discreet collectors stamp of "A. & L. Salle", old dampstains to frontispieces, the maps very clean, a few covers worn or gouged and nicks to spine, but overall a very attractively bound set.
