. [Nuremburg: Homann's Heirs, circa 1806]. Early cloth backed boards. 21 1/8 x 12 1/2 inches (54 x 33 cm); Engraved title with maps listed ("a." on contents), hand-colored double-page engraved chart ("b." on contents), and 20 hand-colored double-page engraved maps as called for. Boards worn with losses, title with contemporary ownership signature, the front pastedown with a manuscript list of the maps in the same hand, some stains and early repairs, pencil notations, modern bookplate of E.G. Sarasin.
