Original publisher's printed boards with cloth spine, the upper cover a Vanessa Bell woodcut, reddish-brown cloth spine as issued. 7 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches (18 x 12 cm); 91, (1), [1] p. ads at rear, with the four original woodcuts by Vanessa Bell. Covers slightly rubbed and soiled, endpapers toned as usual, internally clean, some offsetting from the Vanessa Bell plates.
This little work contains the stories A Haunted House; A Society; Monday or Tuesday; An Unwritten Novel; The String Quartet; Blue and Green; Kew Gardens; and The Mark on the Wall. It was hand set and printed by F. T. McDermott of the Prompt Press.
