Grossular (Hessonite Variety) Garnet

This specimen features a three dimensional high quality cluster of sharp and very lustrous grossular garnet crystals stacked on top of each other. Cinnamon-peachy color with very interesting striations as a result of growth between rhombic-dodechedral faces and trapezohedral. Crystals are up to 1.5 cm. This mine is now closed. Approximately 2.3 by 1.3 by 2 cm.
