Platinum, Gold and Diamond 'Tortue' Wristwatch, Cartier, Paris
18 kt., mechanical, centering a tortue-shaped off-white dial with black Roman numerals and railroad track border, set within a rose-cut diamond-set case with diamond-set lugs and crown, diameter approximately 29 x 22 mm., completed by a grosgrain ribbon strap with gold deployant clasp and platinum and diamond-set buckle, dial signed Cartier, movement and case signed Cartier, Paris, with maker's mark, case and buckle with French assay marks, circa 1915. Length 5 7/8 inches.
