, including two volumes bound in later green morocco, 11 5/8 x 7 inches (30 x 18.5 cm). The first volume opening with an incomplete copy of the second volume of Laws of the government of New-Castle, Kent and Sussex, upon Delaware (Wilmington: Adams, 1763. 81 pp. Evans 9375) and continuing with printed acts with caption titles through February 1777 (extending pagination through p. 369), at the end is the complete An act of the General Assembly of the Delaware state, for establishing a militia within the said state (Lancaster: Bailey, 1778. 15 pp.) and other 1778 acts regarding Revolutionary issues, one act regarding the militia provided in manuscript in a contemporary hand. The second volume contains various acts with separate title pages titled Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Delaware from October 1778 (Wilmington: Adams, 1779. Evans 16256. ESTC reports three institutional copies), October 1779 (Wilmington: 1780. Evans 16757), October 1780 (1781, Evans, 17133), October 1781 (1782, Evans 17512), and several others through 1791. Signatures of Charles Ridgely, early marginalia, first leaf stamped, the first listed volume with facsimile leaves at front, some repairs and small losses, the lot not fully collated and sold as is. Federal era imprints include Laws of the State of Delaware. Wilmington: Peter Brynberg and Samuel Andrews, [1793]. First edition. Cloth backed boards. Pages 3-91 only. Lacks title, stamps, spotting at rear, this work prints the 1792 revised Delaware Constitution. Evans 25387; Laws of the State of Delaware, passed at a session of the General Assembly. New Castle: 1797. Samuel Paynter's signed copy. 20th century cloth. Stamp obscuring portion of signature, repair to final leaf; and Laws of the state of Delaware. New Castle: 1797 (volumes 1 & 2) and Wilmington: 1816 (volumes 3 & 4). 20th century cloth, the first volume housed in folding case. The first volume detached from binding, various stamps.
