. Philadelphia: Folwell's Press, 1800-01. First collected edition, an incomplete set of ten volumes only (lacks volumes 7-9). 20th century cloth. 8 3/4 x 4 7/8 inches (21.5 x 13 cm). Stamps, some toning or small stains, clean overall, occasional tears.
In 1799, Congress ordered four hundred copies of the Journals of the Continental Congress to be reprinted as the supply of original issues was depleted. Retains the 1776 volume printing the Declaration of Independence.
