. New York: Swords, 1794. Stated second edition, an interesting interleaved copy with over 100 pages of manuscript notes bound-in. Modern black cloth. 7 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches (20 x 11 cm); 355, [1] pp. Stamp to title verso, trimmed signature to title; Together with manuscript records of the Court of Aldermen in New York City circa 1797. An approximately 100 pp. manuscript in ink with an index at end, being the cases overseen by Alderman Theophilus Beekman. Disbound and housed in a cloth case. 12 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches (32 x 20 cm).
Worthy of future research, the Wyche volume is annotated in an unknown contemporary hand and is quite evocative of the training of American lawyers in the Federal period.
