. Wyandot, Kansas: S.D. MacDonald, Printer to the Convention, 1859. First edition, the title signed by Samuel A. Kingman, a member of the convention. Early boards with an early label of a Leavenworth City binder, housed in a folding case. 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches (22.5 x 14.5 cm); [4], xlvi, 439, 16 pp., printed in double columns. The boards detached with spine lacking, stamp and foxing; Together with General Laws of the State of Kansas, passed at the First Session of the Legislature. Lawrence: Kansas State Journal, 1861. First edition. 334 pp., bound with the 1860 rules of the supreme court. Sabin 37066; And the 1862 compiled laws.
Said to be the first book printed in Wyandot, this volume contains as an appendix an early printing of the Kansas Consitution. The first work is Sabin 37024; Kansas Imprints 218.
