First edition in English. 20th century buckram with leather spine label, two parts in one volume. 10 3/8 x 7 inches (26.5 x 17 cm); leaf of verse, "Neptune on the commonwealth," engraved title, printed title, [42], 1-176, 179-274, 279-500, [2]; [10], 37, [1] pp., with engraved maps in text. Crudely repaired tear to lower gutter margin of the introductory verse, paper somewhat toned, trace of dampstaining to the end of the work.
Sold with a copy of the second edition in English, 1663. For the first, Pforzheimer 858; ESTC R15125.
