Includes six works by Frank Forester [i.e. William Henry Herbert], including Fish and Fishing of the United States..., New York: 1850, American Game in its Seasons, New York: 1853, two sets of Field Sports of the United States (these and the preceding work are the copies of the renowned sporting collector Harry Worcester Smith, with his bookplates), American Game in its Seasons, and Sporting Scenes and Characters; Roosevelt African Game Trails; two copies of North American Big Game; Ernest Seton Thomson Lives of Game Animals; Annabel Tales of a Big Game Guide; Hawker Instructions to Young Sportsman; and Smith The further adventures of the One-Eyed Poacher. Some wear, all but one of the Forester works in good condition, all in original cloth.
