. Paris: E. Teriade, 1937-1939. Four volumes, the covers color lithographs designed by Matisse, Chagall, etc., each volume with the original tray case and lid. 13 7/8 x 10 3/8 inches (35 x 26 cm); color lithographs throughout each issue by Leger, Miro, Rattner, Klee, Chagall, Derain, Kandinsky, Masson etc. Fine copies of the first four issues in the original card cases, some defects to the cases but generally in sound condition and scarce thus.
The fourth number contains the fine Matisse lithograph La Danse, and all the volumes have important lithographs prepared by Mourlot for the publication. These are the English language issues.
