. New London: Timothy Green, 1750; the work issued with, but without the title page for: Acts and Laws of his Majesty's English Colony of Connecticut. Later half morocco gilt. 12 x 7 1/4 inches (31 x 19 cm); with separate title for the Charter but not the Acts, A6 (Table of the Laws) bound at end of volume, 268 pp., this copy resembling Johnson's 3rd state differing only in that p. 256 does not have a catchword but does continue with reprints of acts through 1752, the final blank with a religious manuscript and the signature of Elisha Macy (possibly b. Nantucket 1753-1806). Worn with the title and last leaf mounted and other repairs, A5 silked, faint stamp and numerous stains, lacking A2 as noted, sold with all faults. Evans 6479; Together with Acts and Laws of his Majesty's English Colony of Connecticut. New London: Timothy Green, 1754 (but colophon dated 1756). Bound as above. 11 5/8 x 7 inches (30 x 18 cm); 297 pp., lacks A4 (p. 5-6). Worn, stamped. Evans 7172; Johnson New London 520.
