Remnants of previous binding to spine, stamp to title and verso and to last leaf, title detached, a few chips, toned within, one leaf with a small loss to corner affecting text; Together with A Collection of all such Acts of the General Assembly of Virginia, of a Public and Permanent Nature, as are now in Force. Richmond: Samuel Pleasants, 1803-08. Two volumes. First editions. 20th century cloth. Stamps, some wear to first leaves of first volume, clean overall.
The first work listed here contains a lenghty discussion of the Alien & Sedition Acts. Evans 38960. The lot three volumes.
