. Richmond: Meriwether Jones, 1800. First edition thus. Two parts in one. Modern black cloth. 13 1/4 x 8 inches (35.5 x 20 cm); 108 [2]; 66 pp., an uncut copy. Some soiling to title with a stamp on verso, tear into F2 and one other leaf not affecting text, early pencil scribbles in second part, toned leaves but generally clean.
Of note here is the Treaty of Amity between the United States and the King of Prussia, printed in French and English and signed in print by a young John Quincy Adams, the son of President Adams, as well as measures proposed upon the death of Washington. Evans 38703.
