Paris: Lattre and Herissant, [1762]. 20th century three-quarters leather, marbled sides. 14 3/4 x 11 inches (37 x 28 cm); engraved title, two preliminary leaves (avertissement and plate list), 36 folding maps and charts hand-colored in outline, and a large folding map of France from another source additionally bound-in. Some dampstain and minor fraying, mostly marginal, the binding somewhat worn but sound. The maps are numbered to 36 but no number 25 was issued according to the list of contents.
17 of the maps are by Janvier; 8 by Rizzi-Zannoni; 6 by Bonne and the remainder are unsigned. Phillips Atlases 629.
