. Monte Carlo: André Sauret, 1955. From a total edition of 2850, this copy 1613. Original pictorial wrappers, in publisher's chemise, lacks slipcase and glassine. 12 1/2 x 9 7/8 inches (31.5 x 25 cm); 152 pp., colophon, with lithographic frontispiece by Matisse (and the ninety-nine plates printed after Matisse's drawings). Spotting and wear to spine with small losses, corners rubbed, small gouge to fore-edge, chemise worn and split.
