Pair of Silver and Softstone 'Mongolian' Style Buddhist Trumpets
The instruments are each composed of two softstone (probably Bowenite) sections joined with elaborate silver bands highlighted with cabochon turquoises and corals; the silver mouthpieces are in the form of dragon heads. Length 25 1/8 inches (63.7 cm).
