Early 1920s
Of sheer matte silk in deep shade of salmon, with round gathered neckline, puffed sleeves, the high waist defined by applied pieces embroidered with monochrome gold beads and centered with cameo, the back falling straight from shoulder, the low V of the back neckline reiterated by the long point of the train, gold lame ribbon edging all around, self tied bows with metal tassels descending down side front, white chainstitched thumbprint label: Madeleine Vionnet, number stamped in ink on back 34392.
Very good condition.
