Canvas, with wood bands, brass corners, leather trim, center leather strap, metal handles, wheels, S.S Normandie and French Line steamer labels, yellow monogram GU on sides, the metal bottom stamped: London Strand/Paris Scribe, the canvas marked: Marque de Fabrique Deposee, the interior fitted with three linen trays, interior lid quilted with red, white and blue ribbon, large interior paper label with eagles and coins, Louis Vuitton/London/Oxford Street(crossed out)/454 Strand/Paris 1 Rue Scribe, #34725. Height 27 inches, width 43 inches, depth 24 inches.
Good condition, shows wear, some damage to canvas a hinges, leather strap broken, overall dirt.
