Excellent condition.

Mrs. Vreeland was photographed by noted phnotographer Bill King in 1977 for the "What becomes a Legend most" advertising campaign. This campaign featuring immediately recognizable figures was conceived by Jane Trahey and implemented by Peter Rogers Associates. In the book accompanying this lot, Mr. Rogers describes the photo shoot. Coiffed by Kenneth, Mrs. Vreeland held up her own Blackglama mink cape in a dramatic pose suggested by Mr. Rogers. He stood in the background hidden from the camera supporting the cape from behind.
