Of bright yellow gauze damask patterned with phoenixes amidst foliage, with green chiffon pleated front panel and sleeve ends, kimono sleeves, wide curved integral belt at waist worked in sequins and silver metallic with paisley pattern and stiffened with cord to hold blouson back, two silk tassels at hem front and one at center back neck, the hem cut in curved inverted V at front, extending into short back train, labeled: Paul Poiret a Paris and stamped in gold script Printemps 1913, name of client and #28898 hand written in ink on tape label underneath.
Very good condition, tear in chiffon sleeve end, and in lining at neck back.
