Andre-Louis Gilbert, third quarter of the 18th century
The rectangular molded edge breche d'Alep marble top above two drawers inlaid with foliate design amidst diamond shaped reserves, the top drawer mounted to simulate a frieze with a guilloche pattern, raised on cabriole legs ending in leafage cast hoof sabots, stamped Gilbert, the back with paper label with faded room identification.
