Pair of Louis XVI Gilt and Patinated-Bronze and Marble Three-Light Candelabra
Late 18th century
The urn-form standard flanked by winged sphinxes and continuing to scrolling leafage cast candle arms with grape cluster terminations hung with chains, cresting in floriform sockets, the whole centering intertwining snake-form standard cresting in eagle wings, raised on ball feet. Height 19 1/4 inches (49 cm).
