Frame rubbing. Cracquelure throughout. Repairs at center left, center, lower center and center right with corresponding patches on the reverse. Canvas is restretched to a newer, smaller stretcher, with overlap showing old stretcher marks, pinholes and staple holes. Extensive inpaint throughout, most visibly in sitter's coat; dense varnish layer makes UV inspection difficult to assess restoration.
