George I Red-Japanned and Parcel-Gilt Coffer on Stand
The hinged domed top depicting musicians in a landscape and opening to a painted interior, the front and sides similarly decorated, the sides with iron ring handles, the associated stand with a serpentine apron and straight cabriole legs. Height overall 27 3/4 inches (70.4 cm), width 20 1/2 inches (52 cm), depth 14 1/4 inches (36.1 cm), height of coffer 10 1/2 inches (26.6 cm), width 18 inches (45.7 cm), depth 12 inches (30.4 cm).
