English Gilt-Metal- and Wedgwood Plaque-Mounted Burr Maple and Ebony Writing Table/Cabinet
Circa 1860
The stepped superstructure centered by an arched recess with mirrored back flanked by back flanked by cupboard doors, the projecting lower section above three frieze drawers, the center drawer opening to a hinged leather-lined panel on a ratchet support, all over a mirrored back, shaped and rectangular shelves, on turned feet. Height 54 1/4 inches (138 cm), width 49 inches (124 cm), depth 22 1/4 inches (56 cm).
