Empire Style Gilt-Bronze Mounted Red Painted Mantel Clock
The white enamel 4 1/4 inch dial signed Bauce Paris, with Arabic numerals, in a case surmounted by love birds within ribbon tied flowering boughs, above a splayed support centered by a portrait miniature of Marie-Louise, indistinctly signed, over a swagged drapery, the sides with recumbent lions, the pendulum in the form of butterflies and berried branches, the rectangular plinth with inset rinceaux centered by a bearded mask, on toupie feet. Height 21 1/4 inches (54 cm), width 17 1/2 inches (44.5 cm), depth 5 3/4 inches (14.6 cm).
