Third quarter 19th century
On a rectangular malachite-veneered plinth and rocaille base centering Cupid with a harp, seated on a lion, the case cast with flowers and C-scrolls and flanked by two birds. Height 14 1/4 inches (36.2 cm), width 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) depth 3 inches (7.6 cm).
