Italian Baroque Painted and Parcel-Gilt Console Table
Circa 1725
The faux marble serpentine top on four scrolling supports headed by busts with plumed headresses joined by scrolling stretchers and centered by a central cartouche-shaped finial flanked by griffins' heads, raised on scroll-carved paw feet. Height 34 1/2 inches, (87.6 cm), width 62 inches (157.5 cm), depth 23 inches (58.5 cm).
