Continental Gilt-Metal Mounted Porcelain Rhyton Vase
Probably Russian, mid-19th century
Of cornucopia form, the scalloped mouth above trails of flowers and gilt scrolling foliage on green and white grounds, terminating in a gilt-metal ram's head, on a marble and gilt-metal base; Together with a Russian Porcelain Footed Bowl, Kornilov Manufactory, St. Petersburg, 1843-1861. Height of vase 7 3/8 inches (18.7 cm).
