With inset oil on canvas panel depicting fowl in a landscape within a foliate-carved frame above a three-part mirror plate, all within a leaf tip-carved edge, the sides with pendent foliage, the bottom with outset rounded corners. Height 45 1/2 inches (115.6 cm), width 59 inches 149.9 cm).

With previous restorations and now with high varnish and later gilding, age cracks to veneers and with tearing, later mirror plates, central mirror plate shifted to the right, 19th century oil painting with repaired holes to upper right, areas of restoration along right edge and lower left corner, craqueulure and inpainting.
