Third quarter 18th century
The three-part serpentine top centered by a hinged panel inlaid with a flower-filled vase and sliding open to a mirror on the reverse, flanked by hinged panels depicting an inkwell with a quill pen and a pot of pens and opening to wells, the shaped apron with a writing slide above a drawer flanked by a dummy and a working drawer, raised on cabriole legs. Height 28 1/4 inches (71.7 cm), width 29 1/2 inches (74.9 cm), depth 17 1/2 inches (44.5 cm).
