Tibetan Gilt-Bronze Figure of Amitayus
Seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, the hands folded in his lap supporting a furled parasol, wearing a dhoti secured at the waist, a scarf draped over the shoulders and with multiple bracelets, necklaces and earrings, the face with a serene downcast expression below a raised urna, the hair gathered into a high top knot secured by a foliate crown by billowing ribbons. Height 9 inches.
