Set of Eight Chinese Gilt-Bronze Bodhisattva
Each posed seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base before a flame bordered nimbus, the figure holding a kalasa, dressed in a long dhoti and a sash over the shoulder and adorned with jeweled necklaces, the meditative face between elongated earlobes and beneath a foliate crown, four with cold painted faces. Height 4 3/4 inches.
