Confederate States 1861 CSA Scott Token White Medal B-8003
One of the 500 coins struck by John W. Scott after his acquisition of the actual Die used to strike the original Half Dollars, the special die used bears the inscription "4 ORIGINALS STRUCK BY ORDER OF C.S.A. IN NEW ORLEANS 1861" a nicely preserve piece showing minor oxidization at 6 o'clock, graded Mint State 63 and encapsulated by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation.
