Additional Notes & Condition Report

(i) The canvas is unstretched and the paint extends to edges with no overlap. The edges of the canvas have some unravelling and curl up all around. Area of pigment loss 1 inch in diameter at lower left and 1 x 1 1/2 inch area at center right. A 1/8 inch loss at center.

(ii) A 1/4 inch tear and crease at lower right corner. A 1/2 inch tear and crease at upper right corner. The sheet is toned and lightly soiled. Oil medium has saturated the paper and bled through to the reverse.
