[Nairobi: Nakuru Press, 1946]. First edition, inscribed by the author's wife to Lord Cranworth. Publisher's green cloth in dust jacket. 9 1/2 x 7 inches; xvi, 173 pp.; plates after photographs. Jacket with some marginal losses and soiling to rear panel, cloth lightly spotted, some foxing to prelims.
Warmly inscribed by the author's wife, Lorna Anderson, to the author of the Foreword: "To Lord Cranworth / Just a memory of Andy / from / Lorna Anderson". Major Anderson, one of the founders of the East Africa Professional Hunters' Association, died of pneumonia just prior to the publication of the book. Czech, Africa, p. 6.
