Jacket spine lightly sunned with minor soiling to rear panel, cloth tips bumped, minor occasional foxing, bookplate to front pastedown.
The first volume in the Robins Series. "Barber, a South African hunter, describes his 1875 trip toward the Zambesi River. He hunted elephant, buffalo, rhino, giraffe and numerous antelope. In 1877 he ventured into Matabeleland after more elephants. Frewen's tersely written journal includes brief interludes of hunting buffalo, lion, and various antelopes" (Czech). Czech, Africa, p. 18.
